Support du championnat de Normandie de Cross Triathlon, le Arromanches D-Day Cross Triathlon est l’événement phare de l’Usc Caen Triathlon. Organisée dans le cadre des cérémonies anniversaire du débarquement et située sur la plage historique de Gold Beach, théâtre du D-Day et mondialement connue pour son port artificiel, cette épreuve se veut dans les pas de nos vétérans comme une passerelle entre le sport et l’histoire.

Support of the Normandy Cross Triathlon Championship, the Arromanches D-Day Cross Triathlon is the flagship event of Usc Caen Triathlon. Organized as part of the D-Day anniversary ceremonies and located on the historic Gold Beach, D-Day theater and world famous for its artificial port, this event is in the footsteps of our veterans as a bridge between sport and “history.

En positionnant le parc à vélo au cœur même de la ville face au musée du D-Day, la ville d’Arromanches et l’Usc Caen Triathlon offrent un cadre historique idéal pour la pratique du Triathlon.
Avec une natation au milieu du port artificiel Mulberry, une partie VTT sur les plages du débarquement puis dans les terres et une course à pied sur les magnifiques hauteurs d’Arromanches, c’est un parcours sur les traces de l’histoire contemporaine de la ville et de la Normandie qui vous est proposé. Alors rendez hommage aux vétérans et vous aussi entrez dans l’histoire !
